CARLSBAD, New Mexico—XTO Energy Inc., a subsidiary of Exxon Mobil Corporation, today announced it has contributed $51,000 to five fire departments and two police departments in southeastern New Mexico to help fund their day-to-day operations and emergency services.
“We greatly appreciate the services these first responders provide in southeastern New Mexico,” said Wes McSpadden, production superintendent, XTO Energy Delaware Basin Division. “We want to make sure they have the tools they need to continue to keep these communities safe.”
The following organizations each received a contribution from XTO Energy:

• Carlsbad Police Department, Carlsbad
• Eddy County Sheriff’s Department, Carlsbad
• Joel Fire Fighters Auxiliary, Carlsbad
• La Huerta Fire Fighters Association, Carlsbad
• Loving Fire Department, Loving
• Maljamar Fire Department, Maljamar
“These donations represent our ongoing commitment to making a positive impact in West Texas and southeastern New Mexico,” McSpadden said.
