Southern Oklahoma fire departments receive $23,000 from XTO Energy

XTO Energy Inc., a subsidiary of Exxon Mobil Corporation, today announced it has contributed $23,000 to 23 fire departments, many which are volunteer departments, throughout Southern Oklahoma to help fund the fire departments’ operations.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA. — XTO Energy Inc., a subsidiary of Exxon Mobil Corporation, today announced it has contributed $23,000 to 23 fire departments, many which are volunteer departments, throughout Southern Oklahoma to help fund the fire departments’ operations.
“Fire departments in these communities play an important role in providing emergency response services to rural areas where we operate,” said John Doerner, vice president, XTO Energy Midcontinent Division. “We appreciate the expert services provided by the fire departments, and are pleased to provide some assistance to help them continue to provide important services.”

The following fire departments each received $1,000 from XTO Energy:
• Ardmore Air Park Fire Department, Ardmore, Okla.
• Ardmore Fire Department, Ardmore, Okla.
• Criner Hills Fire Department, Overbrook, Okla.
• Dickson Fire Department, Ardmore, Okla.
• Dillard Volunteer Fire Department, Wilson, Okla.
• Durant Fire Department, Durant, Okla.
• Eastman Fire Department, Marietta, Okla.
• Falconhead Volunteer Fire Department, Burneyville, Okla.
• Gene Autry Fire Department Gene Autry, Okla.
• Hauani Creek Volunteer Fire Department, Madill, Okla.
• Healdton Volunteer Fire Department, Healdton, Okla.
• Lake Murray Village Volunteer Fire Department, Overbrook, Okla.
• Lakewood Volunteer Fire Department, Mead, Okla.
• Lone Grove Fire Department, Lone Grove, Okla.
• Madill Fire Department, Madill, Okla.
• Mannsville Fire Department, Mannsville, Okla.
• Marietta Fire Department, Marietta, Okla.
• Orr Volunteer Fire Department, Ringling, Okla.
