Automation Technician

  • Duties: Must work with Production and Midstream Operations understanding the importance of bringing in data from well sites, salt water disposals, compressor sites, plants and any field automation into XTO’s related SCADA and alarming systems for alarm history/trending, and display. Must work well with field production and I & E employees. This position will be required to be a part of an on-call rotation; when on-call it is based on 24/7 support.  There may be times this individual is called in to assist when not on-call as part of a team. Responsible for the day to day support, maintenance, and some development of XTO field locations to include well sites, SWD’s and tank batteries. Interface with various customer and support elements including automation, measurement, engineering, production, operations, and other IT support staff including trouble-shooting communications issues. Ability to travel (travel required across the Delaware Division properties) to remote sites for projects and other support (majority of time spent in the field), and is self-motivated managing priorities as they change regularly to the field’s needs.
  • Skills:  Knowledge of Automation controls preferred. Must have safety as a primary concern. Working knowledge of RTU’s, PLC’s and field devices preferred. Basic IT knowledge of computers is beneficial. Understanding of field radio communications is beneficial. Effective written and oral skills. Strong time-management skills, customer-service orientation, and good interpersonal skills. Experience in oil and gas field operations is preferred.

Plant Operator

  • Duties: Perform routine plant operation duties including operation of compressors and processing equipment. Complete associated written operations and maintenance reports.
  • Skills:  Prior oil/gas operations experience preferred. Mechanical skills associated with maintenance, repair and operation of natural gas processing and conditioning equipment and related components and instrumentation.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced facility personnel. Must be able to work shifts. Must be able to lift 50 pounds to a height of 42 inches. Must be able to work in extreme outdoor temperatures

Electrician

  • Duties: Be on the job at the assigned time. Inspect equipment and facilities for problems and do minor repairs. Coordinate electrical contractor activities. Coordinate electrical warranty work/reports. Maintain and monitor electrical shop and inventory. Prototype, debug and field test new technology. Adhere to all environmental and safety policies. Communicate with Production Foreman and Lease Operators on a daily basis. Keep company vehicle maintained and in in good working order.
  • Skills:  Must possess Master or Journeyman electrical license and be NFPA70E certified. Ability to troubleshoot and maintain motors and controllers, switchgear and ESP panels and installations. Supervise electrical installations and contract crews and ensure compliance with codes and standards. Maintain Electrical Distribution System (EDS) including substations were applicable. Good computer skills with a variety of software, including the Microsoft Office suite of products. Good verbal and written communication skills.

Measurement Technician

  • Duties: Install meter tube and EFM (Fisher Roc's/Eagle/Total Flow) equipment. Install radio equipment and ensure communication uplink. Size meter plates, take gas samples and input into EFM and various transmitters. Set process controls in both the field and processing plants. Maintain, calibrate and perform testing and preventative maintenance on said equipment. Install, test, troubleshoot and run diagnostics on TRU equipment.
  • Skills:  Minimum of 5 years of industry experience preferred. Basic understanding of Gas Chromatographs and measurement standards (aga 3,8). Experience installing and maintaining Fisher ROC's and Total Flow gas measurement equipment and WinCCU software preferred. Good verbal and written communication skills. Good computer skills with ability to use the Microsoft Office suite of programs, as well as pertinent industry programs. Able to work in a team setting.

Lease Operator

  • Duties: Be on the job at assigned time. Gauge tanks, read meters and record data. Inspect equipment and facilities for problems and perform minor repairs. Adhere to all environmental and safety policies. Communicate with production foreman and other lease operators on a daily basis. Keep company vehicle maintained and in good working condition. Coordinate oil sales and salt water hauling as necessary. Maintain accurate gauge sheets and note reasons for production changes. Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts. Must be available for call outs as situations dictate.
  • Skills:  Ability to maintain, operate and repair surface equipment associated with the production of oil and gas. Demonstrated computer skills using Microsoft Office or similar software program. Good oral and written communication skills. Able to lift more than 50 lbs. and climb ladders and stairways. Must be capable of using SCBA and associated safety equipment. Must be a team player.
